Kujtim Turkeshi

nasce a Durazzo in Albania nel 1963. Si è laureato come scultore monumentale presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Tirana in Albania nel 1991. Ha lavorato come maestro di disegno artistico e creativo presso il Liceo Artistico di Durazzo “Jan Kukuzeli” e come restauratore di oggetti antichi al Museo Archeologico di Tirana e Durazzo. Dal 1998 vive e svolge la sua attività artistica a Deruta Italia. Parte dei suoi lavori si trovano nella Galleria Nazionale delle Arti di Tirana e Durazzo, nelle Istituzioni e nei luoghi pubblici, in collezioni private in Italia, Francia, Spagna, Rusia, USA, Canada, Grecia, Inghilterra, Germania, Svizzera etc. Vincitore dei diversi premi artistici e stimato dalla critica.

Part of his work can be found in the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana and Durres, in Institutions and public places, in private collections in Italy, France, USA, Canada, Greece, England, Germany, Switzerland, etc.
